Our 4th of July weekend

This year for the 4th of July, we decided to go back to Mississippi and visit my husband's family.  We haven't been back in a few years (during the summer) and it was a fun adventure!

The boys thoroughly enjoyed the hot air balloon show, boating with Pawpaw, and visiting all the friends and family around.  They though the fireworks were great, and had a good weekend of eating way too much food, and lots of fun. :)

We made it back just in time to go to our church's Annual 4th of July bluegrass and BBQ event!!  Full of fun times with horse competition, fast draw shooting, kid games, great music, good preaching, and of course AMAZING food!!!  Being part of the pie competitions, and other events make for great memories with our family.

I am forever thankful for the soldiers and others that fight to keep our country free and I'm also thankful for a great church community and family to spend these memorable times with!
